TIERRA SAGRADA
As artists, we create that which we see, feel, and desire. what about the things we can see? The things we do desire but can’t have? As an undocumented person, I cannot travel outside of the US and come back therefore it means I have to experience my culture from the outside. This project is an exploration of some of the cultural icons that make Mexico what it is.
THE CRESTED CARACARA
When the Mexica people found the eagle and the snake in the middle of Lake Texcoco they established the capital of Mexico. It is said that it may have not been the golden eagle. Instead, it was a crested Caracara they saw.

A big part of Mexican culture is Charros and Charras.
